《中华临床营养杂志》1993年创刊，是中华医学会和中国医学科学院共同主办的我国第一本传播有关临床营养支持、各种营养素的代谢、营养支持对结局和“成本-效果”影响以及转化医学与营养研究等方面信息的专业性学术期刊（双月刊），也是中华医学会肠外肠内营养学分会的专业期刊。

摘要：Clinical nutrition in the United States encompasses a vast continuum of nutrition: from the process of identification of malnutition to the management and prevention of obesity. This presentation with focus on the current pratice of nutrition support in the United States. Nutrition support is the provision of specially formulated and/or delivered parenteral or enteral nutrients to maintain or restore optimal nutrition status.
